The West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) in Nigeria has made history after successfully receiving MV Lady Jane - the second largest container ship to berth at any port in Eastern Nigeria!

The vessel has some impressive specs - measuring 295 metres in length with a beam of 32.3 metres and the capacity to carry about 5042 TEUs. The terminal's managing director, Naved Zafar, commended his team, saying that the milestone was a group effort. He also highlighted the terminal's ongoing investment project which involves upgrades to infrastructure, a modern operating system and an expanded yard.
